NOVOMATIC Romania, part of the NOVOMATIC Group—one of the world’s leading players in the gaming technology sector—has been operating in the Romanian market since 1990.

The company is active in all segments of the gaming industry, offering innovative solutions for slot machines, sports betting, VLT (video lottery) terminals, online gaming, payment processing, maintenance and after-sales services, as well as spare parts.

In 2005, the division responsible for the nationwide distribution, leasing, and maintenance of slot machines was launched. NOVOMATIC Romania manages thousands of gaming machines monthly, as well as main warehouses that facilitate their preparation and delivery. The national centers provide comprehensive technical support for both sold and leased equipment.

Thanks to its significant expansion in Romania, the company is recognized as a true national “showroom” for some of the world’s most popular equipment and games, setting high standards in technology and service quality.

NOVOMATIC Romania continues to adapt dynamically to market demands and rapid changes in the gaming industry. Within the group, NOVOMATIC Romania operates gaming halls in Romania under the ADMIRAL brand, now known as ADMIRAL BET, alongside a vast network of partners and collaborators.

In 2015, the company introduced the international sports betting brand “TIP & CASH” to the Romanian market, revolutionizing the local industry with its automated betting terminal technology. Subsequently, starting in 2023, the business underwent a rebranding process to ADMIRAL BET, to align with new business objectives and market requirements.

Internationally, the company is also recognized for its expertise in VLT terminal technology, as well as its partnership with the Romanian Lottery. Since 2017, NOVOMATIC Romania has been the exclusive distributor of APEX gaming equipment throughout the country, a product that expands the portfolio of technological solutions in the field.

Launched in 2017, Admiral.ro is a platform offering access to gaming and sports betting entertainment, designed to extend the gaming experience to the online environment and provide 24/7 entertainment. Starting in 2020, NOVOMATIC Romania also took over the platform’s operations, consolidating its presence in the digital gambling market and offering a complete experience to users. In December 2024, the platform was relaunched under the ADMIRAL BET umbrella (admiralbet.ro).

NOVOMATIC Romania is the first company to introduce the concept of RESPONSIBLE GAMING in the country and has a long-standing partnership with local authorities in the fight against piracy and illegal gambling, in promoting responsible participation in gambling, and in supporting vulnerable individuals facing addiction through various dedicated programs and initiatives. NOVOMATIC Romania is also a founding member of ROMSLOT, the association of gambling operators.
